Kshamenk is a 29 year old male orca who lives at Mundo Marino. He was captured in 1992, though Mundo Marino claims he was stranded.

Kshamenk met a female orca named Belen when he got to Mundo Marino. They weren't close, but the two went on to mate when they were older. Belen became pregnant with his first calf but delivered a stillborn in 1998. Belen became pregnant again, however she passed away while pregnant in 2000. Kshamenk has been the only orca living at Mundo Marino since Belen's death. He now lives with dolphins. Kshamenk was almost moved several times to the U.S. to live with a female orca named Shouka who had lived alone at Six Flags. Argentina denied the move as Kshamenk is native fauna.

Kshamenk's tank is small compared to other facilities with orcas. The water temperature used to be too warm but Mundo Marino has made improvements. There used to be other problems as well, but more were also improved over the past few years. Overall, Kshamenk seems to be in good health.

In Summer 2011, veterinarians from SeaWorld traveled to Mundo Marino to receive semen from a collection they helped perform while there. A SeaWorld female named Kasatka was artificially inseminated soon after. She gave birth to his son, Makani, on February 14, 2013. Takara gave birth to his daughter, Kamea, on December 6, 2013, also through artificial insemination.
